“I had the honor, of being invited by Brother Yasus, as a guest of the Symposium’s pre-meeting. There was a wonderful array of Creatives, and vital individuals, involving the Symposium’s focus & purpose. I personally look forward to the things discussed & shared, coming to fruition. It’s crucial for legends & veterans such as Yasus Afari, to reach out, join with Creatives & others across Jamaica, and offer to unitedly be involved, and supporting of each other. Can you imagine being a Creative and or a Youth, and Yasus Afari is there, at your school or event, in full support? That’s beautiful. There’s a Nomadic Poetry School Tour going on in Jamaica as we speak, with Creative Brother Malachi Smith, also a dedicated veteran in Dub Poetry, Youths, Community, & Jamaica. I hope these two Creative Giants, show us, what it means to bring about a Creative Foundation, that thrives on togetherness and supports changes in this sector. Again, I give credit to all those involved, and to Brother Yasus for his consistent contributions and works, in Jamaica & abroad, regarding Arts, Roots, Culture, Youths, Community, Creativity, & Livity. This is a DYNAMIC move, in taking Creativity & Arts to another level. Brother Yasus mentioned something important and it pertains to my motto…🌹🌎”We’re All In This Thing Called Life, TOGETHER…Remember? Namasté & One Love.”🌏🌹
