Creativity Is Humanities Algorithm

JAMAICA’S CREATIVITY, ARTS, ROOTS & CULTURE

“LIKKLE BUT WE TALLAWAH!”
“The Creativity in Jamaica is mind-boggling & PHENOMENAL! You’re being severely deprived if you aren’t exposed to it. Jamaicans, whether “Home” or abroad, carry their Creativity within their beings. You feel di “RIDDIM” (translation: the rhythm) and flow, of a People, different from any other, in the world.”~Maxwanette A Poetess

Jamaica’s Motto “Out Of Many, One People.”
Jamaica’s National Anthem
Growing up, I recall family members, singing this song, with their chests puffed high, swelled beyond sense, singing with strength, conviction, confidence, and unity. It filled me with a sense of pride and love for my ancestry.

*Louis Reyes Rivera – https://indypendent.org/2012/03/remembering-louis-reyes-rivera-the-peoples-poet-a-fighter-for-a-free-and-open-cuny/

“Jamaica began for me, with my Mother, Hyacinth Williams, after marrying my father, she became a Moncrieffe. “My Mommy, ah di best Mommy!” Plays deep within my brain, pulsating, and radiating throughout my core…My Mommy showed & shared her culture, as Claude McKay & Miss Lou were known at home. I was born in Brooklyn, NY in the ’70s. Mommy wrote her first book in 1983 (I happily republished it last year), started her own record label, started her own company, and was an avid activist in her community in the USA because she knew what it was to suffer, struggle, and do with less.

My Mommy taught me how to hold my head up high. She gave back until she gave away too much…But she always had a love for Jamaica, visited, and through her eyes, I became fascinated. My Mommy immersed my sister Denise & I into our ancestry, down to designing & making our clothes, a huge storyteller, an awesome cook, and had a vibe that simply made you have to jump & dance, get up & prance…

Some Of Jamaica’s Foundational Creatives Of Poetry, Arts, Roots, & Culture

The Creatives of Jamaica…These are a simple few, that we’re sharing. Stay Involved, As We Venture Further, Within One Of The Most DYNAMIC Mecca’s Of Creativity, In The World!

{P.L.O.T.S.}~Creatives Magazine Honors Jamaica’s Poets

“Imagine all these Creatives on 1 stage??? I think the Earth would SHIFT! A few may not be with us in the physical anymore, but those that are here…That would be a DYNAMIC show, with lifetime memories & effects. What a turnout that would be! As they say in Jamaica, “It’s never too late for a shower of rain,” basically, it could happen! 🤩 These are some of the foundational Creatives that not only put in the work, but also paved the way and are the catalyst, to Dub Poetry, Spoken Word, and Poetry on a whole in Jamaica. Once heard & experienced?… Things are simply not the same again. And that? That’s a good thing. I’m strongly for paying accolades, giving credit where due, and honoring those that came before us, while they’re alive. The sacrifices & contributions of these Creative Veterans impregnated The World of Poetry and gave birth to a new generation of wordsmiths, that leaves no stone unturned. Their works, are TIMELESS. Stay tuned, as we continue to explore & view the wonderfulness of Jamaica’s Arts, Roots, Culture, & Creativity. ” ~Maxwanette A Poetess

    1. “Greetings Brother Kenton!
We’re always so happy to see and hear from you! I apologize for the delayed response, as I wasn’t available, due to being ill. Please bear with us, as we apply content and expand. We have a wonderful team and we appreciate the compliments. The behind-the-scenes work is extensive, and rarely do people see, know, or care about it. Yet, it’s vital to the flow and must be done. I know you can relate.

The World of Creativity is soooo HUMONGOUS, lol! Yet, I’m having a wonderful time, on this journey, sharing Creatives, and my own talents (which oddly wasn’t the plan, but happened anyway, lol), as the beacons of; love, light, unity, arts, roots, and culture, coupled with the wonderfulness of life and humanity, that we all really encompass. “Creativy is Is Humanities Algorithm.” All we have to do? Is FEEL. Thank you for you continued love and support, as you’re a well needed and valued individual, and we’re happy to have you. I look forward to sharing your works on a larger scale and to your continued progress and success. I LOVE YOUR WORKS!, Your style, and your level of Creativity is uniquely satisfying. Continued Love & Blessings! Yuh dun noe seh mi lub yuh mi breddah! Blessed.”~Maxwanette A Poetess aka Maxine A. Moncrieffe
